As long as the reader is restricted to the very proper parlor and the "commerce" is handled discreetly in the abstract, I think it can qualify. Especially if the story has a strong element of irreverent humor.
(Truth in posting -- I picked this up last spring, but it's still languishing in my TBR file.)
