Can you point where in the epub specs this occurrence is pointed as invalid?
More over I'm not using fragment ids... I'm just pointing to the very same html file.
And, as a matter of fact, as I said this issue happens in kepubs, but NOT in epubs (and it doesn't happen either in Calibre, or in ADE, or in my PRS-650, ...)
But I concede that
maybe Kobo has specifically broken/removed it their
hidden and unknown kepub specification as they have broken widows and orphans, page-break-whatever CSS property, support for several chapters (toc entries) in the same html file which plays wrong with the in-chapter page numbering and chapter jumping features,...
So yes, maybe they are not allowed in kepubs, even if kepubs are supposed to be
better than epubs. Who knows.
