Haven't actually checked the file, but if you used Calibre w/ default settings, that's an M7 mobi, try to convert it as a KF8 AZW3, see if it helps.
That said, OTOH, I don't know if the KF8 renderer actually honors nbsp, so it may be a shot in the dark.
