It's not supposed to work on the Aura. I read that somewhere here on MR. 1st post:
[New Feature for Glo/Aura HD] One-finger brightness control: When light is on, swipe finger up/down along left edge of screen while reading to adjust brightness
You'll note it does
not say Aura.
