I doubt it unless some major code is changed especially with the FN,LN and FN LN and prefix and suffix variations...
However, practically if you just want the last name to jump out at you, just use your author sort with the last name first and make that the only column visible for the author.
Other than that, if you only want to see a particular author, use the Tags Browser at left and click the desired author or Quickview (right click or Q on keyboard for that author).
