I'm sorry but there are some of the community who find ANY excuse to call Kobo incompetent, or to put them down.

Do you guys wonder why it is that no-one from Kobo posts here officially? Simply put it's because of the gigantic amount of fault finding many of you do.
The last time I saw a post like this, I filled a large post with all the incompetent things that Kobo was/wasn't doing.

Kobo has great hardware. They suck, really suck, at software. And that includes their website.

Even something as simple as sorting a list of books on the website isn't possible, even though there is an option for it. Neither can the site limit the books to English books, despite selecting that option. And these bugs have been going on for months and months. Hell, I'd like to be able to limit the search to just a single author, not every book that mentions that author in their short blurb (for readers who like ....), or authors that share a first or last name with the searched author.

As to why the people from Kobo don't post here, I don't know. It may have to do with it being difficult for them to explain things like why, when they have a monthly firmware update cycle, it can take over a month for the firmware to be rolled out to some customers (or at least most of the month).

I'd like nothing better than to not have any excuse to knock Kobo. Kobo, on the other hand, is working tirelessly to negate this possibility.

Please believe me when I say that I'm not taking a dig at you. You have stated a real belief, and I can see your point. I can really see your point. I'm addressing this more generally.
