Speaking of Georgette Heyer, I found most of her mysteries to have male victims whose heirs are almost always their nephews; what was up with that?
I'm looking forward to starting them

I used to be able to love every single Poirot book, but recently I had a go at re reading Mrs McGinty's dead, after a gap of 20 years, and I just couldn't finish it. I also didn't like all of the stand alone Christie books and one Tommy and Tuppence book. Christie is alas no longer a surefire hit with me.
