Last I was aware, there is no federal statute mandating that that we read Ann Coulter. So I'd have to say, that politics still doesn't have to play a role in what we read.
If you had said must politics play a role in what gets published, you'd be right.... I'd also have to ask whether you have a point, other than I guess that it should be illegal to write books with a political message. Seems a little
naive.
