excellent idea ! and while we are adding the genre prefixes, let's not forget about tags to refine the classification. tags are good for mentioning the language (if it's not english), the theme, more specific genre information, and any other keywords that are relevant.

to add a tag, click on "edit tags" in the grey bar at the bottom of the page. separate tags with commas. if a tag exists already, it will be proposed automatically after you type the first few letters ; it's best to use tags which already exist if possible, to simplify searches (i.e. if you want to add a tag called "french novels" and you find that "french novel" already exists, don't add an s).

to search by tag, click on "search" then "tag search" in the blue menu bar, or just click on "tags" on the tag bar. you'll see the most common tags, which you can click, or enter your own keyword to search.
