I scan many paper books, for I prefer to have them on electronic format.

After several tries, I ended up using PDF with OCR.

I own a Scansnap iX500 and Acrobat Pro.

Which way would you suggest me to scan the books? I mean DPI, image parameters (BW, gray scale, color) ecc.?
