Seems strange that one way works, which I'm happy with but deep sadness not the other.
Did you start the Wireless device connection in Calibre? (if started, the menu will now show Stop the Wireless device...)
No other device was connected (the content serve allows many connections. A Device is limited to 1 of any kind)

Is the port blocked by your firewall?
