Well, yes and no. My wife's Aura still has issues with a couple of uSD cards but so do my Aura HD and the daughter's Glo. It seems that cards that worked reliably still work reliably and cards that worked with some firmware releases and not with others are still flakey.

One other thing to be cautious about is the number of counterfeit uSD cards being sold. I checked with the manufacturer (Kingston) about a couple of 32GB uSD cards I had purchased, ran a couple of test and came to the conclusion that both of them are counterfeits. Both were purchased at the same time from a local computer shop. H2TestW says that despite being marked as Kingston 32GB class 10 cards and showing a capacity of 29.8GB, their real capacity is ~4GB.
