The battery meter is, at best, flakey. My Aura HD tends to stick at 100% for the first week and then drop slowly to about 40% and nosedive after that. I've had it long enough with enough discharge charge cycles that the meter should have calibrated. If Apple, Google and Samsung with their resources can't get it right given the number of complaints about inaccurate battery displays on iOS and Android phones, I tend to regard the battery life indicator as a wild-eyed guess at the real battery level.
