Yup. That explains why I had to move out from my hubby and get a separate place. He keeps talking, just to fill the air ..... and meanwhile, I am getting more and more drained from that same talking. He keeps a radio going 24 hrs a day, just so there is noise in his now empty (but for him) house. I haven't turned my TV on in 14 months. I listen to the radio while I am making my dinner or the doggies's, but I turn it off when I sit down to eat and read.
Sigh .... bliss! Except that I do keep having him over for dinner. Then the evening is full of words again, and I have to unwind afterwards. (and ignore half of it, even while it is occurring)

A woman in the Chicago group just gave away an LG 37" HGTV, a Dell XPS computer, Nintendo WII, and some new furniture, because she's getting married and the guy has all his own stuff, and wanted hers out of the house so he could move in tonight.
I missed out on all of it. It would have been poetic, the divorced guy getting a WOMAN's stuff, because she's getting MARRIED.
