This week I completed The Big Four, The Blue Train (both by Agatha Christie) and Around the World in Eighty Days (by Jules Verne/audio). The Big Four wasn't awful but I was happy to be done with it. Just too over-the-top for me, plus I didn't appreciate all the running around (so fatiguing! ). I like settling in one locale with one manageable cast of characters and let's unravel stuff

I enjoyed the Jules Verne book and I think the (audio) narrator's skill had a lot to do with that. The Blue Train was a good read but I missed the Poirot/Hastings interaction that I've come to love.

I'm following the Poirot series listing on Goodreads so the next book should be Black Coffee. I'm also 60% into Dee Henderson's True Valor. That should do it for the weekend.
