I assume Kovid owns calibre-ebook.com, I've not seen an https variant.

I download via a standalone download manager - Free Download Manager. To initiate the download I have it hooked into Firefox via the Flashgot gadget .

When you had a similar problem a few months ago how was it resolved? I just read the thread - it seemed inconclusive. I have a vague memory that when I downloaded 1.37 from FOSSHub I got something that had a file name of 1.37 but the revision numbers, czechsums and calibre version numbers were all 1.36.

Added : for good measure I'll add the revision numbers to my previous post.
