When I rode near him he was stirred to rise up on his feet. I slowed enough to stroke the fur on his head. At first he seemed to evidence a disposition to follow me, but I gently discouraged him. Then I got off the bike, helped my friend load his packages, and suggested that he go back into the shipyard so he could get his hard hat since I wasn't carrying a spare helmet, but he seemed to think with all the other stuff tied on the bike the police wouldn't notice.

What a weird dream. I've been retired now for 8 months and still my old job intrudes upon my dream world. Not to mention that it's been 20 years since I had the Sportster.
Now I'll probably dream of snakes and bears tonight. I still have the occasional dream about being at work and I haven't been employed since 1999. It's been a while since I had one of those though.
