Update:

I was WRONG!

My original Chrome 2.1 download was for the 32 bit version of Calibre. I downloaded the 64 bit version with Chrome and I got the same error. The 64bit version I downloaded with Chrome is the same as all the others I've downloaded today, meaning they are installers for Calibre version 2.0

In between that Malwarebytes found Potentially Unwanted Programs: Crossrider.

Dealing with that now. Will update presently.

Again. For the record, I am NOT running Calibre 2.1 despite downloading with different browsers.
