See, this is why I'm so confused:

We have this promotional smegma from noted author R.L. Stine:

“The terror begins on page one and never stops! This is my kind of book – filled with magic and dozens of frightening surprises.” —R.L. Stine

And yet, if Amazon's page count is correct (296), then wouldn't the terror stop at page 296 when one finishes reading the book? He boldly states that "...[terror] never stops!" If one agrees with Stine that the terror does, indeed, continue AFTER reading the book, will the terror at some point cease to exist?

Too, since this is 'Book One,' what happens to the terror when/if starting 'Book Two'? Does the terror continue to escalate, if we agree with Stine's assertion that the terror continues and never stops?

I think you can now fully appreciate my confusion in this matter.

In the future, to avoid any further confusion, you may wish to read the reviews before posting a freebie here.

I remain,
Dr. Drib
