Oh, sorry, then in that case it's them ("Booxstor" on MR) that you need to talk to. There are two versions of the T68: the "Onyx International" version, which you have, and the Artatech version, which I have. The two versions use different firmware.

That could very well explain our differing experiences with the touchscreen: Artatech released a firmware update at the end of July which, for me at least, dramatically improved the touchscreen accuracy: in the original firmware, using the soft keyboard would result in the wrong key being activated about 20% of the time, but since the upgrade it's virtually 100% reliable. That would seem to suggest that what you're seeing is a firmware issue, rather than a hardware problem.
