I enjoyed it as well, but, it felt like an extended introduction. The story in the novel is complete, but it seemed to be as much about setting everything up for the later novels as telling one story.

I used a code at Kobo to get the first four books in a collection for less than $3. I'm not sure if I would have continued if they were full price.
