Be warned that all batteries will drain themselves, even if the device is turned off... I don't read from my BeBook Mini in winter while waiting for my ride home (either it's too wet, too cold to keep my hands out of my pockets, or simply too dark), so it's often empty when I try to read from it again after a long hiatus
