As suggested by Cecell3000 I only used KoboRoot.tgz to update Aura HD to 3.7.0. It seems to be working all right so far!

PS: 1. Unchecking Show page numbers in the margins is apparently having no effect on header or footer.
2. A new font 'Bitter' has been added.
