So far we have a new Kobo (e-ink) reader, a fairly recent Android tablet, possible future directions without any new device actually mentioned, and I added to the confusion

by only reading UK sources about release of the second generation Nook GlowLight, which had only been released in the UK in early August although on further reading it had apparently been available in the US for some time.
me: links to B&N tablet, Nook Glowlight (very new in the UK but not in the US), very limited Kobo details.

Hmm, I was unaware that they had updated it. And google/Wikipedia comes up blank about a Glowlight 3rd gen, too. Can you provide a link?

What does this have to do with B&N???

Forgive my confusion

about which new device you were referring to - apparently the one nobody specified

which I confused with the one nobody mentioned.

Too right.
Back to the discussion about the Kobo H2O:
The H2O has a 6.8" Pearl E Ink Screen, 265 dpi, 1440 x 1080
The Aura HD has a 6.8” Carta E Ink screen, 265 dpi, 1430 x 1080
Is there likely to be a significant difference in readability between the Aura HD and the H2O?
There are a few links here with Kindle examples:
http://www.reddit.com/r/kindle/comme...hite_2_and_an/
From what I can make out there will be a minimal increase in contrast but nothing else particularly significant?
The specs page for the H2O (
http://www.kobo.com/koboaurah2o#techspecs ) also intriguingly mentions " multi-touchscreen" - is that at all significant?
