The number's not italicized, and it's not immediately obvious that (a) that text would be anything other than informational or (b) "of" is italicized.

Now, if it said Page: 1 of 184 - with the colon and the italicized numbers - that would be a bit more obvious. Even so, that field's between two Very Obvious triple-line menu icons and is neither part of the shaded bar (as the other selectors are) nor accompanied by a down-caret (as the list name is), all of which combines to downplay the number's tappability. In short, it's the only tappable element on the screen that is not accompanied by some other indicator that it is tappable, and "these two letters are in italics" is a very weak indicator for that status.

At least, in my opinion.
