I just found the solution, so I'll post it for anyone who runs into the same issue.
Locate the Crypto folder in the Application Data folder:
Windows Vista/7/8
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft
Windows XP
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft
Rename it to Cypto.old
Try again.
