The concept of installing dual-boot Linux, then running Wine within it, and spending all that time getting stuff to work, and then maybe it won't work. Meh...Why bother unless you want to play with Linux? The only real appeal for me is the price-tag.
I guess if you know Linux well and want a purely Linux box on the cheap, then it can make sense. But I'm so locked-in to Windows progs. Maybe there's a good, light-weight Linux word-processor that fits my needs, but maybe not. Ultimately, for me, it's not worth the distraction atm. I'll keep my eyes open though. Hopefully Chromebooks will force down Windows based devices.
