I disagree [about "Cloud Atlas"], but let me frame my disagreement in a much better way, one that allows for avenues of discussion and for intellectual disagreement:

In my opinion, I think this book is wonderful, because the book probes areas of good and evil - important issues, I would argue - and understands the strength and importance of the power of making narratives in our lives.

This may, indeed, not be a very good fit for the OP - but that would be another issue for discussion, I would think.
