Some rumory stuff
Good point Katsumami! After receiving the Kobo HD for my birthday, I started seeing speculation about the Aura H2O. From what I've read it looks like it will be very similar to the HD, but be waterproof, and maybe have a capacitive touchscreen instead of infrared. I'm very happy with my Aura HD, but it makes sense to wait for a few weeks or so to see what Kobo announces. Or, you might be able to get the Aura HD at a discount--right now Kobo's website has them for $149, $20 off the normal price of $169. I believe I read that the new H2O is expected to be priced at $179.

Edited to add: just noticed the link Katsunami posted reporting the expected specs of the H2O--indeed very similar, but with the improvements of waterproofing and a capacitive screen. Although, I have to say, I don't mind the infrared touch screen.
