Device: Nook HD
Nook HD - Calibre 2.0 - MTD connect error

I was excited to see the new support for Android devices on the Mac in Calibre 2.0. But so far, no luck.

At first I had the "MyNook" app running which mounts the Nook as a drive on the computer, and that seemed to be stopping Calibre from being able to open the MTD device. But once I got that shut down, I now get this:

Looking for devices of type: MTP_DEVICE
MTP devices connected:
USBDevice(busnum=20, devnum=12, vendor_id=0x2080, product_id=0x0006, bcd=0x0216, manufacturer=BN LLC, product=BNTV400, serial=3025230350234103)

Trying to open: USBDevice(busnum=20, devnum=12, vendor_id=0x2080, product_id=0x0006, bcd=0x0216, manufacturer=BN LLC, product=BNTV400, serial=3025230350234103)

MTPError: The device has no storage information.

I had also in the past tried to use Calibre Wireless but I couldn't get the items to show up in the Nook's library, so I was hoping this would work better now. I will keep trying but thought I would report it.

Is PTP better?
