Sorry for the late response, I usually do not look into the Kindle section.
First of all, *.anything will not work, use .anything instead. This search is not a filename search, it searches for title, author, series, tags and the complete path to the book. It does not support wildcards though.

It should tell you the complete path of the not found book, check if this is really where you expect the books to be. Chances are that Koreader automatically found an old version of metadata.calibre. So please check if the searchpath really points to the correct calibre file. In case you manually moved this file to a new location you also will get this not found result.
