calibre may work if you go in 2 steps, do epub to epub conversion which will clean up the code, then try epub to pdf with the results.
if anicesoft is really calibre renamed ( & an older version at that) - your report does not make a lot of sense though ?

maybe this bit of anicessoft - epub to pdf - has been taken from some different program ?
