If my memory serves me, this is the worst sports injury I've ever had, other than a broken finger when skiing, and I did that by getting it stuck in the bathroom door handle in the lodge, not on the slopes!

1. No, which is what makes this such wonderful news. I'm considering tearing up my right arm now, and perhaps I'll finally be able to master the bagpipes!
2. MUCH safer than the Black Diamond slopes, or so I thought. The stall door had one of those elongated D-shaped handles (like a beer stein,) and just as I was reaching for it, my ski boots slid out from under me while my thumb went inside the 'D' and the rest was history...
