I've already been to the linux download page, followed the link to the downloadable files, select 1.48, and do not see any Linux downloads either there, or for any 1.x version. That seems odd, since the link to the 2.0 version shows them. What am I overlooking?

here's what I see on that page:

calibre release (1.48.0)

Windows
Windows 32-bit Installer
Windows 64-bit Installer

Calibre Portable
Calibre Portable Installer

Apple Mac
OS X Disk Image (.dmg)

Source Code
Source code (all platforms)

is what shows there, at http://download.calibre-ebook.com/1.48.0/. Is the "Calibre Portable" the one I want? it looks like a windows program, so I assume not.
