The Galaxy Tab 3 *is* in the $140 range.
The 4 is list-priced at $199 but discounted to $179 pretty much full time.
It is the regular price at Amazon, for example.
An, as pointed out above, the generic Samsung version comes with more flexible/valuable perks, especially on the audio book side.
