It is a game that single-handedly resurrected the RPG gaming scene, revitalized interest in Dungeons and Dragons, and even pulled RPG's somewhat into the mainstream. In addition, it has an epic storyline.

Most people prefer not to change anything; ever moved an icon on someone's Windows desktop? Disaster. Maybe it is different in entertainment, and people just consume stuff once and move on.
