Moon Rise by Marilee Brothers is the 2nd in her The Unbidden Magic YA paranormal teen-with-a-gift trying to save the world while surviving high school adventure fantasy series, free courtesy of publisher Bell Bridge Books, who also gave us both the 1st and 4th several years ago.

Ignore Amazon's title numbering for the series. It's just plain wrong unless you have a perverse desire to read the first two books out of order.

I guess this has become the selected 3rd free (non-repeat) ebook alert thread of the day by default. I had an Irish crime thing ready to go, but then a Baker freebie showed up and bumped that down, since those generally expire after a day, and I no longer recall how long Bell Bridge freebies last any more, so finishing up those took priority.

And if you've been hanging around MR long enough, you'll likely have gotten 3/5 books in this series free, which is reason enough to be happy if it turns out you like it.
