My back started hurting yesterday afternoon, for no apparent reason. The big test is going to bed. Sometimes, the rest is all it needs, and it's better in the morning. Other times, the muscles stiffen up, then I move in my sleep and they start to spasm. Then the only thing that helps at all (aside from some Aleve) is to get up and sit on one of the chairs in the living room. I can get
a little rest in brief periods of sleep and the position feels better for my back.
Last night they spasmed. So now, my back hurts and I'm dead tired.
