I am cheap and also believe in re-using plastic that is otherwise non-recyclable where I live. So when I got my first Kindle for Christmas 2011 and realized I needed some sort of stand so I could read while sitting at my dining room table, I simply tore the remaining pages off my "Wisdom from the Dalai Lama" page-a-day calendar and used the light plastic stand they had been glued to.

It looks like this, in black: http://www.aacintervention.com/home/...ar%20Stand.jpg

So far in 2 1/2 years of use, the hinge has not broken. The stand folds flat when not in use and is tall enough, with enough of a lower lip, to hold both my KK and K4 at a good viewing angle. Weighs maybe an ounce or two. What's not to like?
