Ahh..I haven't read Hunger Games (I just watch the movies), but I've read Divergent Trilogy. It certainly was a great read.

(But I don't like the ending.

)
I haven't read a lot of YA books, but from the few that I've read, there are some that don't exactly sit well with me:
- Meg Cabot's The Mediator series. The heroine - who's a mediator that can communicate with ghosts - is so full of herself that I find it rather intolerable. If not for the story and other more lovable characters, I probably would have given it up after the first book.
I read the first book of another series, Abandon, and had the similar issue with the heroine again, so I didn't bother to read the rest of the trilogy.
- James Patterson's Maximum Ride series. It's about a bunch of genetic mutated kids. I don't really understand why the heroine has to feel the fate of the entire world lies on her and her companions' shoulders alone. Besides, I don't like how the story ends.
These characters keep on blabbing about their problems (because we're put into their heads

), and that the world can't survive without them doing something. If they want to solve a problem, just go ahead and do it. They don't need to make it sound like they have to do it because they don't think anyone else can handle it.
Well, I read these books a few years ago, so I'm not sure if I'll still feel the same if I read them again. But it's another issue whether or not I would like to read them again. Lol.
Sorry but English isn't my first language, so I always have problems expressing myself. I hope you won't get too confused reading what I'm trying to say.
