I recently loaded my library on two different devices for the first time. I did this multiple times for a variety of reasons. I have a large library.

I used the following methods:

1) Download from Content Server via USB cable then had CC do a subsequent scan when connected as a wireless device.
2) Download as a wireless device.
3) Placed SD card in PC and saved epub only to disc in a single folder in the Kit-Kat required folder then had CC do a subsequent scan when connected as a wireless device.
4) After I loaded the library to the SD card of one device, I copied the library files to the appropriate folder of the other device via PC then had CC do a subsequent scan when connected as a wireless device.

By far and away, the most efficient way is option 2, in my opinion. The other methods took many times longer than Option 2. The other methods had a variety of problems, missing books, failure to match, duplicates, etc., that required much MORE time to cleanup.

Make sure you have adjusted the settings in CC for the formats you want on the device and the storage location before you put any books on the device.
