Meanwhile, on to Dinosaurs and a Dirigible by David Drake. One from the September Baen Bundle (no longer available as a bundle). A collection of five shorter works.

I've also been reading The Man Who Counted by Malba Tahan. A delightful set of mathematical problems in an arabic setting.

I liked all the problems except the last, when although the reasoning was right, the outcome was lucky.

But it's well worth a read if you can find a copy. Most enjoyable.
