PyGlossary usually does an excellent job, but isn't perfect. If you have a Windows machine you could also try to convert the .bgl file with
Stardict Editor:
1. Select the BGL file from the dropdown menu in Stardict Editor, click Browse... to select the .bgl file and click Compile.
This will generate a file with the .babylon extension.
2. Select the Babylon file from the dropdown menu in Stardict Editor, click Browse... to select the .babylon file and click Compile.
This will generate the actual Stardict files (ifo, idx, dict etc.).
If it still doesn't work, have a look a the .babylon file with a text editor.
