I don't understand how skimming this thread title would be helpful to you in that way. The original poster doesn't even have a Kobo ereader. They're predominantly having issues with a Sony reader and Adobe passwords.

Kobo also attracts the tweaker/hacker market, and a huge number of threads are devoted to those topics and related issues.
