An alternative to LastPass would be Keepass. It is open source and available on all platforms. By the way, you can export your passwords in both programs and you can print them.
And I don't really understand why you are uncomfortable to have all passwords encrypted on your tablet, but no problem to have them plainly visible in your dropbox? If your tablet gets stolen, it is much more easy to get access to dropbox than to the encrypted passwords. And what happens if dropbox is hacked?
