FYI, there's also an easy way to go skip the ones you've already read (based on the last time you logged in and clicked on that link - it doesn't really know if you actually read every one in the thread, it just assumes it).
If you look at the top of the thread, there's a link on the left-hand side that says "View First Unread". There's also a box with a down-arrow that does the same thing.
You can also see that option when view the list of all New Posts (which you can get to using the menu at the top).
