That's an idea but the problem I have is the import was only for about 1200 books. These are almost all fanfics which means I imported them using FFDL and their url. I still have the urls for the last batch, so I could re-import those, but no clue what the urls for all the other ones would be.

I'm wondering, what if I copied all of those extra title folders into an empty library based on the same column structure and then ran a Restore Database on that library before copying them into the original library? It's still a large amount of work but it seems less likely to run the risk of freezing my computer.

I'm also kind of curious as to why restoring extra titles to the database isn't an option in the check library process?
