Thumbs up Free (DRM-Free PDF) The Dying Earth RPG w/ Jack Vance bonus [Fantasy Roleplaying]

So, once upon a time, the late Jack Vance (ISFDB, Wikipedia) wrote a highly-acclaimed and very influential post-apocalyptic fantasy novel, which later expanded into a series, and later acquired an RPG based upon said series.

The Dying Earth RPG, said RPG based upon said series, contains a great deal of supplementary info about the background workings of the novels, which may be of interest even to Jack Vance fans who don't care about roleplaying and may also act as a bonus appendix for the Gentle Reader on a nostalgia binge.

This is offered free courtesy of the Jack Vance official website and their publishing partners Pelgrane Press, as a thank-you to their customers.

Free throughout August, I think @ JackVance.com (DRM-free PDF), where you'll have to sign up for an account if you don't have one already and then visit your User Information page to see the download link. Actually, I've no idea if it's available to non-pre-existing customers and I'm not making a new account to check, but the fact that they put up a front-page newsblurb announcing it probably means that it'll be for everybody.

They've also a lot of Vance's backlist written across multiple genres available as e-books (some in French translation, even!) in their webshop (and will give you a DRM-free MultiFormat bundle of ePub/Mobi upon purchase) and the Omnibus editions seem to be a considerable savings on the also-individually-available titles, but if money is a consideration, the prices are much better @ Kobo where they are couponable (at least if under the "Spatterlight Press" imprint).

Description
This month, we are offering all Spatterlight customers something rather splendid – an eBook version of the award winning tabletop RPG, The Dying Earth. This offer will go out to all customers. The book is a game, but it’s also a repository of locales, spells, characters and even recipes from The Dying Earth series of books.

The Dying Earth RPG is supported by an array of books, including the revamped Dying Earth Revivification Folio which updates the RPG, The Compendium of Universal Knowedge – a cyclopedia and atlas of the Dying Earth, and The Gaean Reach RPG which is set in Jack Vance’s SF cosmos.
