Between the Panels 2: An Exciting Look Behind the Scenes at Four Fantastic New Graphic Novels by various comic book artists is a reasonably in-depth exploration of exactly what went into the making of parts of said titles, free courtesy of comics publisher First Second, who've printed some of my very favourite GNs of the past few years, and who are apparently distributed by Macmillan.
(Especially recommended: Nick Abadzis'
Laika, Jim Ottaviani's
Feynman and anything involving
Emmanuel Guibert.

)
There's some pretty nifty sketches and why-I-made-this-creative-decision explanations which may prove useful any aspiring comic book creators among our membership, and will just be interesting in to GN aficionados in general if you're a sucker for BTS stuff like I am.
