I did, to my way of looking at it, think that when Amazon has two ways for the public to preview a book that maybe one of them would have a preview of what you actually are about to buy.

I know there are many different devices but the Kindle Previewer and Kindle app on my desktop don't seem to have any issue.

For everyone else who's been playing the home game: yes, of course there's a way for people to see what they'll actually get--they download the SAMPLE. To a real device, which displays whatever their reader is capable of doing--KF8 if it's a Fire/HD/HDX/PPW, or KF7 if it's an older e-ink or the DX. But if the only "registered device" a person has is Cloud Reader, they don't see fonts, because it doesn't display fonts, either--like the K2's, for example.
